Guys,

My lawyers received the RFE for my wife's 485 application. The RFE is for legal status since she has been in the US (Passport copies, Visa copies, I-20 etc). Needless to say all this information was already forwarded to them as part of the initial filing packet. They must have lost all of this in the mistaken transfers. The strange thing is that they have also sent a FP and Biometrics notice to my wife. She has already completed her FP a month ago with me. There is no FP notice for me. They must have lost my wifes FP or the computer might have just generated another stupid notice.

I am truly amazed at how incompetent these people are. To think that our futures depend on them. God help us all ..

Will keep everyone posted on the progress.

There is pretty much nothing we can do about the way TSC works.You can send all the documents soon and try to go for early fingerprinting.Even i got RFE for employment letter and salary,and these documents were already send with I 485-packet.I think they issue RFE these days for no genuine reason.Even my lawyer was of the same opinion about TSC.All we can do is just give what ever they ask,then hope and pray that they approve every thing soon.
 
I completely agree with you guys.... Kaash if they could feel our pain... Saras I can feel your pain but, we dont have any other way but sending them whatever they want how many ever times they want... Hope everything turns out good at the end.

It's been a while since I checked this site. So I didn't know that your I-140 was approved.

RFE response received by USCIS .. LUDs changing

Guys,

Yesterday I got an email from USCIS stating that they have received the response to the RFE issued against my wifes 485 application. The online message and LUD changed yesterday. Today the LUD has changed again.

I am hoping that there will be no further complication from here on and I will get the approval soon. Getting pretty nervous though ...

Yes, sounds like good news ..

It defenitely seems like good news but this process has made me a bit pessimistic. Until I actually get the approval emails and the written notice in my hand I will not get my hopes to high. I have been burned by this process one to many times.
