On 06/07/2004, USCIS issued RFE for

Proof of Status from last entry till I-485 filling
EVL
-------------------------------
Sent copies of H1s, I-94s and W2s covering the period. Also, sent EVL from new employer without mentioning AC21.

Did you reply to the rfe by your self or did your attorney sent the response.
When you got the rfe, what was the status of your wife or dependents case?

Appreciate your help.

My lawyer answered the query. I thought about doing it myself as I already had everything that was asked and lawyer seemed greedy. But since he was the only one who received RFE, thinking of future I answered through him.

There was no query for my wife. I asked the lawyer many times that he should probably point to USCIS that my wife's case is linked with me and to make sure they have not lost the connection but no avail.

I hope that answers your questions.

My attorney is yet to receive the RFE. It was issued on june 28th. Hence i do not know whether he will charge me or not....But logically thinking your attorney should have charged you one time for the whole green card process. Anyway do not bother about money at this stage...

My wife's status is also changed to RFE....I think it has something to do with medical for sure. They may ask for EVL for me. I have changed my job so little worried....

Thanks for your info...

when they ask for EVL, why did you send the W2? Is'nt a letter for employer with pay stubs enough?

I sent W2s for period where I was supposed to prove my status and we sent H1 approvals and W2s to support them.

I just sent EVL and no 2003 W2s or recent paystubs as they were not asked for.

Don't worry about the job change. If they don't ask, don't disclose. Search for my post on AC21 forum.
