RFE received after getting EAD, Advanced Parole

My ND is 12/2000, got my FP in march , recd by EAD i april and received a RFE asking for my last 2 years 1099, last 4 pay stubs & last 3 years w2 forms. Why is that so? Is there any specific reason why INS is asking for these info? Does any one had a similar kind of RFE. I appreciate your feedback/help onthis.

There is no reference of RFE in the AVM... Is it normal???

they are just checking whether u were employed and in status all the while...good luck

RFEs totally random. In my case, I got an RFE for I-140 while my coworker who filed at the same time as me got approved back early May.

generally, if your case takes longer than 6 months, there is a chance for RFE for paystubs, w2 etc - their way of checking if you are still employed... may not be for everyone - but sometimes they do send out RFEs - just my observation by looking at this board - good luck.
