Attorney gets the actual RFE letter
In our case when our I-485 application status changed to 'RFE sent', the RFE letter was received by our attorney few days after the status change.
The attorney that got the letter, was the one that originally prepared and submitted our applications.
I think that this is usually the case for all RFEs, the 485 beneficiary will get RFE letter only if the application was submitted by himself, without attorney's help.
