I received RFE letter requesting
1. passport copies
2. I-797 A approval notices relating to any extension of stay
3. employment letter
4. 3 year tax returns to include W2
5. pay stubs

I have few questions.
1. The letter states that supporting documents may be either originals or legible, true photocopies of original documents. Do I have to send in true notorized copied for any or all of the documents requested above?

2. I E-filed 2000/2001 tax return . Will the print-out copies of form 1040 work or do i have to send in transcripts from IRS?

3. In one of the I-797 A (H-1 extension) approval notice for a previous company, the last name and first name were switched and the first name was incorrectly spelled. Do you think this is a problem? What is the process to validate that this is just a name error?

I have already send e-mail to my attorney the same questions. Any help will be appreciated. Please advise. Thanks
 
Answer to your 2nd question is
Go to the IRS office and tell the person at tellar that you need your previous years tax reports, they will print out and sign the documents immidiately, all you have to do is, provide your SSN.

a) You can send photocopies of your Tax Returns. Also include W2's.

Dont waste your time going to the IRS.
