RFE Question

I got an RFE last week. I sent the documents they requested, and received an email from CIS yesterday saying that they have received the documents. The date under the column "Last Updated" changed today from May 10 to May 11, which means that they have done something with my case.

Anyhow, does anyone know how long does it take CIS to approve I-485 after receiving reply to RFE?

Thanks, Alex. Did they send you an email about your approval, and did the message on CIS cite change accordingly?

There was a mess up on their side

They were supposed to do that but the person who approved my case messed up something. The way it was explained to me when I called almost a month later is that he was supposed to check all the checkboxes when he approved the case but apparently he didn't check the checkbox to automatically send the email and printout and mail the official approval letter.
So i was actually approved and received my RFE documents back without getting an email informing me of approval or status change online. And when I called some 3 weeks after I got the documents back to see what is going on they figured out what happened.

In your case, if everything goes well you should get the email the same day they approve you.

GINO, what USCIS requested from u as RFE? Was it medical and 325A or something else?
