1. Answer the RFE myself so that I can avoid my laywer fees. I am assuming the RFE is for EVL, paystubs and employment letter.

2. What are the probable lawyer fees. My lawyer charges 500/- for a RFE. I have a family with 2 kids and at a this rate soon I will be bankrupt if more RFE comes my way.

3. For FP does a RFE is sent by BCIS or a different notice comes from BCIS.

BTW my company can provide me a EVL and i have paystubs and I am with the same employeer with higher salary that what was when 485 applied.

Thanks in advance for your replies,

my 2 cents..

1) If you already have a lawyer then the RFE will come to him..he is supposed to be your legal authorized rep..remember the green sheet that you signed giving him that authority ?

So if you want to reply back to the rfe..you have to revoke the lawyer's authorization, then get the rfe letter from him and then submit the EVL from employer and paystubs/tax rets etc.

2) dont know..my lawyer charged a flat fee for the complete process..he got paid when I got the red stamp on my passport.

3)I think if there is a need to redo FP then the notice will come directly to you..

higher salary does not matter when replying back to EVL rfe.
