RFE? Please Help!!!

Hi Everyone,

My case:

I485 - 10/2002
2 EADs & 2 APs
2nd FP on 7/7/04

Received an RFE asking for evidence working for company Y stated in Biographic information is Authorized. I haven't changed company at all, but my company changed its name from X to Y in 2001, I had stated in bio info that 'working for company Y' till date. I have H1B approval before name change from company X, CIS is not aware of company Y stated in Bio info., they say 'our records indicate that you were authorized to work for company X from ../../00 to ../../03. If I submit evidence of name change of my company from X to Y, will it suffice? or something more is needed in my case?

This is a very simple issue. All you need to do is to get a letter from the company that they have changed the company name from X to Y and your lawyer can reply with other relevent documents from the company.

My company (ex-employer who filed the GC) had changed their name like 2-3 times while my application was pending. Each time the company attorney would send a letter to USCIS to make the name change update on the applications. And at the end, everything turned out fine.
