RFE - Pl help

Hi
I am new to this forum. I have already submitted 2 affidavits for Birth certificate.Now I have received RFE to produce Non availabity of birth certificate.I have one from thasildar with his signature and seal in a plain paper. will it be ok? will CIS reject the case if the submission of RFE is not as per their norms? any rejections sofar heard? pl advice.

There is no USCIS norm for non-availability certificate. The certificate should look original, convincing and from a proper authority who is suppoed to issue birth certificate (not from other people or other authority). That's pretty much. It does not have to be in some kind of fancy letterhead. Many rural offices in other countries don't have that kind of letterhead stuffs. The letter just have to be convincing.
