RFE or additional Information

Please can any one tell me what this can be as I havent still received the notice ( may be my attorney has received it.)
"On December 15, 2003, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."
 
Depends what the RFE is for. Last week I received a similar RFE for my pending Advance Parole document. The RFE was to show proof of approved I-140.

I know the anxiety. Just be patient and hopefully it will be something really simple.
 
Hey! Why do you need an approved I-140 for AP?

Or is this some new tantrums of some irate officers at TSC?

RFE for my AP

I checked the status for my advanced parole and was disappointed to see an RFE issued. Disappointed because, this is my second AP for which a RFE is issued. I didn't get any RFE for my first AP last year.

I haven't received the RFE notice, yet. Did anybody awaiting the AP receive an RFE notice that is issued for reasons OTHER THAN to demonstrate I-140 approval???:confused:

Anitha: I didn't get a RFE last year, but my wife did. It was about my I-140. After submitting the evidence for the RFE, the case was approved within 20 days. Well, you are not a prognosticator, are you? :D. I am stunned over your guess and you got it right.
 
RFE could be for photos - this is second hand information based on colleague's experience. We ourselves (myself and spouse) are anxiously awaiting word on our AP (ND: June 25th).

Poongunranar - I know you have mentioned this somewhere else before, but do you mind posting your AP ND again? Thanks.

Every SRC around my case has a RFE issued

Hahaha!!! Every SRC number, around my case, at least 5 of them that I fingered, had been issued RFEs on the same day. So, it seems like this has become an unwritten rule -- ISSUE RFEs FOR APs. Beware!!!

It is very unfortunate, that one of my friend's closest friend from VSC went to India, thinking he will get approved before he makes the return trip to the USA. I am closely watching his case to see if he gets approved while being outside the USA. Already, one of my friend fell from the pinnacle, for making such an unwise decision to leave the USA, while a petition was pending, only to be issued a RFE and thereby losing his GC altogether, because of his hasty decision. So, please be cautious and spread the news to your friends to NEVER LEAVE THE USA WITHOUT PAROLE (AP) OR H1-EXTENSION APPROVED. That can be suicidal.

Myself and wife got AP RFE to provide I-140 approval. This is our second AP, we didn't get RFE for first one though!!!

Hope we will get our AP soon( ND 4/30/2003 )
 
These days it is always better to attach a copy of i-140 approval notice with AP application. Last time when my wife filled her AP , she also got the same RFE ( 140 copy). Even my lawyer did the same.

Any May 27, 2003 RFE Holders got theirs approved?

I know Officer # 394 had gone on an RFE spree for everybody.

If your receipt date is May 27, 2003 and you had obtained a RFE from this officer, did you get it approved? Mine is still pending...:(
