RFE on Wife's pending I-485

Folks:

I just got an RFE on my wife's 485 application (my application is pending too). I wanted to find out:

1. Does the USCIS mail a copy of the RFE to the petitioner as well. My lawyer's address has changed and this apparently has been causing some issues with them receiving mail from USCIS.

2. Does anyone know what typically is the reason for an RFE. My wife joined me as a dependant last year (Feb) and after she got her EAD, has taken up a job (started in Dec). I'm not sure what exactly their looking for but wanted to know if anyone has had a similar experience.

RFE typically goes ot your lawyer. We got 5 different RFE for our applications and they all went to lawyer.
For our wife they can ask marriage sertificate or other proof of mariage since she joined later, evidence of legal status in US (visa notices , I-94s), updated medicals, etc)

5 RFE's - do these guys just keep at it, because they get a kick out it. I just find this whole experience to be an ordeal.
