EAD approved on April 2004

I-140 approved on 09-July-2004

FP1 done on - August - 12 - 2004

Yesterday i recieved e-mail from USCIS about RFE. still waiting for the mail to come.

Gurus please let me know what are the possible RFEs at I-485 stage. So that i can prepare.


Here is the msg from USCIS:

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On September 15, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

We got RFE just for birth certificate.

People also get medical or soemthing about employeement. Take it easy. Just wait for the mail. It most likely goes to your lawyer.

Already submitted the birth certificate affidavits. however i am not submitted any letter from my taluk office that .. they don't have a birth ceritificate.
 
hey NellorePet,
if you see in this forum,, there are only few possible RFE requests made by USCIS while I485 going on.. like EVL, medical tests again, employers interest in still hiring, and may be two yrs tax returns with current paystubs.....
mostly they would be missing some info, and requesting about that only, which you will be already having, so I think you dont have to worry,
moreover you should be happy that your case is moving very fast,,, just after the FP1, thats cool man,,
hey my RD is Oct 13th, still I have not got my FP1, I applied under EB3 category, your's is also same, or EB2, please let me know,

I got RFE on 8/4/04. About Medical,Birthcertificate, Employement letter, 2 years of Income proof(W2)

I mailed them on 8/28...

So try to get all these papers before..so that you don't have to wait.

did't you sent your Medical,Birthcertificate, Employement letter when you filled your I-485.

i sent my birth affidavit birth ceritificates ...

this is kind of junk system is't it :-(

You are very lucky that they are already working on your file. Dont worry about RFE. It may be regarding EVL, medicals or Birth Certificate. So please update this forum once u get RFE and also about what it is.

MY RD is OCt 22, 2003 and i had just done my FP1 on Sept 3, 2004

My RFE is about birth certificate.. replied on Oct-10 and mine and my wife 's 485 was approved on Oct-28.
