I have recieved (today) an RFE on 2 issues. ONE is medical regarding not meeting immunization requirements. The time given was until the 1st week of August (120 days) to reply, otherwise application MAY be denied.

In August 2002 was when I got the medicals done I was pregnant, but the doctor did submit I-693. I was not asked to come back for any amends to the medical.

Right now I am pregnant with my 2nd child due at the end of august 2005. I am in a similar situation as I was in 2002, which means the new 693 can not be sent to the INS by the deadline.

TWO -birth certificate (BC). I have submitted an affidavit from my parents as a substitue for BC. The RFE says " We received the affidavits you submitted. However, if a BC is unavailable, you must submit secondary evidence of your birth, such as a baptismal certificates, school records, or a hospital record of birth that includes your parent's names. If submitting secondary evidence in place of a BC, please include a letter from the official issuing authority of your country that a BC is unavailable or nonexistent".

Any suggestions?
Thank you

For the birth certifcates there is a company in India " yourmaninindia.com" which is owned by TTK SERVICES(P) LTD. They do get your birth certificates from your local authorities if you provide them basic info like DOB / POB / Parenta name etc.. They charge on an average of $175.00 and they are quick enogh to get you the same in about 3 to 4 weeks of time.
Hope it helps.. ( I got done done from them)

I think you need to give two affidavits which you have already done. What you need is a letter stating that the birth certificate was not issued at the time of birth or that the birth certificate is unavailable. Include your name on the non availability certificate. It should specifically state that no record exists for ...your namexxxx on the date you were born to parents xxx on datexxxx. On murthy.com I believe there is a format for that. As far a medical is concerned you need ot get a letter from the doctor that a particular vaccination is missing and cannot be given due to medical reasons and you can state that it will be submitted once the pregnancy is over. That might persuade them not to reject your case outright. It is best to talk to a lawyer over these things.
