RFE on I140 asking for paystub

I recently got an RFE for my I140 application asking for all the payslips since 2003 Feb (LCA applied month) till today. I do not have payslips for April, May, June and July as I was on bench and my company did not pay me. My lawer said we will send only paystubs from Aug 2003 to current month. Will my I140 be rejected ?. Any guess. How long it will take for them to take my RFE response from the sending date ? (RFE says 15 to 20 days). This is in Vermont.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
 
Try to get a letter from your company stating that you were on "unpaid leave/vacation" for those months and send this letter along with your paystubs.
