I received an RFE letter today on my I-485 application (I-140 already approved). It says:
"On your I-485 application, you indicated that you were a member of armed forces in your country. Please explain in detail your military background, units assigned to, training,..."
A 2 year military service is mandatory for all male citizens in my country and I was not a MEMBER of the armed forces. I'm sure USCIS is aware of that. Has anyone received a similar RFE letter? Any experiences?
