RFE on AP Need Advice !!

Hi All,

I got a RFE on 131 which states :

Please submit a photocopy of personal data pages of your valid passport,which include your photograph and biographic information.

This photocopy must be clear and readable in order to accurately determine the photo identity.

You may also provide documentation such as an unexpired foreign passport with an Arrival-Department Record (I-94) bearing the same name, current Driver's license, military ID's ,school ID, or other identification cards issued by federal,state or local government agencies or entities.


Please let me know if any one got similar RFE.

As per my attorney, I should submit color copies of personal data pages of passport as well as color copy of Driver license.Please let me know your experiences on this.

That's correct, you just need to submit color copy of your passport which has your photograph, name, Date Of Birth, Place Of Birth etc., and also a color copy of your driver's license. One of my colleague got the same RFE and after submitting the above-said documents, his case was approved.
 
Hello NiceGuy2006, Nothing to worry about - got the same RFE. Just do exactly as your lawyer told and you should be fine. I got enlarged A4 size color copies from Kinkos - probably you should do the same.

My wife does not have a driver license. Do I need to get state id for her and send it along with application ?
 
I had got RFE asking for good photographs. I got new photos from Sears sent it to them but I got 2nd RFE. Till now I don't know what the RFE is for.
 
Dont worry. The RFE would be due to photo specifications. I had RFE on AP for copies of passport , its cleared after I sent color copies.All the best

I have got an RFE for better photos. I am going to send them again today. Can you please advice from where did you guys take the pictures. They are not accepting digital photos. So I took film photos from one of the photo studio. Last time also I sent the pictures taken from the same studio. My application got approved, but my wife app got RFE. Please share your experience. Appreciate your quick reply as I need to travel soon and I am going to post them today.

I-131 Pending for 6 Months

Hi,
My I-131 application is pending for 6 months now. I have heard anything from them. I need to travel outside US on family emergency. Can I apply for interim AP somewhere. Please advice.
