Hi,
I applied for concurrent 140/485/AP/EAD on July first week for myself and my wife. Today (last week of august) I Checked the status on Internet bcis.gov and we both got RFE on EAD. I am not sure about what BCIS requires until we get the RFE mail from them.

Also on the web site it say for the both of us(wife and myself) on the AP(I131) status.

******
Aug 25 2004, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.
******

When I checked with my friend AP(i131) approval, he has a different status as below on the bcis site
***
This case has been approved. On August 25, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Question: Do anybody know why the status of my AP and my friend are different. Is my AP approved  ???? Status Text is different from the regular approval text.

Is my AP Status is a RFE also  ?? I have to wait for 2 week to know exactly what is the problem.

Since my EAD has an REF, will my AP have problem??

If there find some problem in 140 (like company status, experience), will they issue RFE on EAD and AP???

Confused

Thanks in advance

relax...

Status wording maybe different, but your AP is approved. There is no reason to panic. Incase you filed AP through a lawyer, they will get it. If you filed it yourself, you will get it.

Chill out

Plus most likely RFE for EAD would be a copy of photo Id page of your passport or DL.
Maybe even a color copy of it.

There's a good chance its a dumb RFE (esp since your AP is approved).

BTW, which service center and what EB category ?

I have a question guys
When I applied EAd for my wife she did not have DL, so I have attached only Visa Copy. Will I get RFE?

You should not get an RFE just for that reason.

I assume that with the visa copy, you also sent a copy of the photo page of the PP.

As long as the photo in the passport/visa clearly resembles the other photo you sent in, you should be OK.

Some folks recommend sending color copies - but I've not had issues with high quality, enlarged b&w copies.
But I think clear copies are far more important than color or b&w.

All they need is some kind of photo ID to make a match -- folks typically send more than one just to be safe.

Hey Max2k1,

I assume that with the visa copy, you also sent a copy of the photo page of the PP.

I have sent 140/485/EAD/AP together. But for EAD/AP they have asked for only DL and Visa copy. So I thought Visa copy is enough and did not send passport copy. But I have attached passport copy for 485. How will they handle it? Will they separate EAD from 485 and process? If they do then my wife's EAD will have only Visa Copy.

I guess so, Lets see

Since no one knows how CIS works ( or if they work !!! ), be conservative and assume that they will split the 485 and EAD .
Since they are too dumb to make a photocopy, your EAD won't have the PP copy.

Lets see -- typically the visa photo is not very good and it has those wavy lines running across the picture obscuring it even more.
Wait 'n' watch now ... while you wait get your wife a DL (or if she can't drive, get her a State ID - which looks like a DL ) .....
