RFE on 485 with out fingerprinting

Guys,

I recevied a RFE on my I485 for employment letter and 2004 W-2. Also for medicals for my wife. But I have not gotten FP notice. Is this something normal. Does anybody had this before?

I thought people wait for approval after submitting response to RFE, but in my case I did not receive the FP notice and how can they approve with out FP? Can some one clarify

Also I informed address changes 2 months ago, but there is no confirmation from INS for that.

Until just recently I kept thinking that I never got RFE. But actually I DID receive an RFE. You see, the reason why I forgot about that rfe was because it came just after the filing of my i-485 (december 2002). I got my FP notice in early March this year, and my case was approved a week ago.

I don't want to discourage you by telling you that over 2 yrs passed between my RFE and FP notice, but yes, one could receive RFE before FP.
