RFE on 485/EB3

Got RFE on 485 email...Still waiting for the paper mail.
Typically how many days it takes to get the notice?

I have got RFE email on Monday May 29th and have not received any paper. My filing case is nebraska and i would like to know how long does it takes to receive RFE. Please let me know if you have recived it and what the the query is for. ?
 
My attorney recieved the RFE and he passed on to me.
RFE sounded strange to me.
It seems they need the portability letter from my employer again.

May be they want to check whether i am still with my employer whom i was working at the time when i sent my portability letter.

Anyways RFE read as follows:
"Submit a currently dated letter from your prospective permanent employer describing your present job duties and position in the organization, your proferred position (if different from your current one) and the offered salary.The letter should be in the original and signed by an executive or officer of the organization who is authorized to make or confirm an offer of permanent employment . The letter must also indicate whether the terms and conditions of your employment-based visa petition continue to exist.

Anyone can explain what the last line means please?

I got exactly same letter as u got, not a word change. I really do not know what to send. rt now i'm working for a diff. company.
Any one pl. adv. on this.

Also Send all W-2, 1040's (all employment history in US)

Would it be okay if I send a letter from current employer? b'coz they said("if diff. from current one") Please adv.
 
I sent the response and got the conformation. Any ideas as to when can i expect a decision?

..and the standard reply will be wait 30 days since RFE issued and still if you have not received contact again.
 
I too got an RFE today (EB3)

I also got the RFE for my I-485 only for me from the system. I am yet to receive the physical only by mail.

Any progress in any of the cases here(POST RFE)?
Someone told me USCIS is just issuing RFE's and sticking some decision(Approved/Denied) to each case, and whenever the visa numbers are available (God knows!!!) they would instantly release the decision????

I don't know how far is this true.
Anyways, gone are those days when people used to get some decison in couple weeks after replying to the RFE.

I think if they decided to deny - they will not wait until visa # availability, they will send NOID or denial
 
I too received RFE but yet to get it.

However My case was stuck in namecheck. does this RFE means my namecheck is cleared?

Is there any chance I will get another one before the I-485 approval. I belong to EB2-NIW, PD March 2005. The current date for this category is Jan. 2003.

What makes you think that you would get another RFE before approval?
The email message is a standard one that every one gets after sending response to RFE.

140 lud and name check

Hi,
The I485s of mine, and family members are pending even though the pd became current in April 2006 for want of name check clearance for me and my wife(My daughters name check cleared). I have two approved I140s(EB2 and EB1). My wife has one I140 pending(EB1 OR). I Have been following up with senator, fbi........ for name check clearance. On 07-08-2006, I saw a change in lud for both of our I140s(EB1) with no message change. Is there a connection to name check clearance?

EB3 with PD Jan-04/ Got an RFE

My Lawyer called me with RFE info .. mentioned that is a normal RFE.
INS asked 3 things
1) Some Info from employer
2) Info about my last stay and employment in last 5 years
3) Secondary proof of date of birth.

Anyone knows when the NAMECHECK is done ... how can I check whether namecheck is cleared or not ?

Anyone with simialar RFE .. what should I send as Secondary proof of date of birth ?

I got the RFE

1. You must submit a properly completed Form G-325A, Biographic Information Sheet for yourself. Your original signature is required on the Form G-325A. Phtocopied signatur are not accepatable.

2. Submit a list describing your employment history since your last lawful admission to the US on July 28 2002. This list shall include the name and location of each employer, the job title(s) and the dates you held each position.

I spoke to out attorney. He said he will takecare of it.
