RFE Notice from Venrmont .. Need your opinions/experiences

My lawyer got a RFE from VSC asking for my job letter, pay-stubs, W-2 and tax filings. The title that was used to file my
  Labor clearance was Software Engineer. I am now a Senior Software Engineer. The legal assistant says that the job letter
  from my company should indicate "Software Engineer" since that was in the original labor clearance which we had filed in
  1997. I am not sure if my company\'s HR department will be willing to put Software Engineer rather than Senior Software
  Engineer in that letter. I am trying to convince them to do that.

  Have you guys had any similar experiences ? Please post your opinions and any comments. Thanks.

The job letter is an offer letter and should state that you will occupy the position advertized for in the labor cert. So it HAS to be "Softwre Engineer". If company cannot be flexible here, you will have to start labor certification all over for Sr Sftw Engg position. INS doesn\'t care about your present title at all. Hope that helps.
