Status of my application on BCIS website


On January 6, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

I have not received the RFE yet, I changed jobs and attorneys,.
Neither my new attorney or my old one has received any.

question:- what is the time frame that BCIS/INS waits before cancelling my I-485/AOS application?

Do they mail the notice a second time?

I was on the phone with INS and gave them my home address to mail me the Notice again.

Does any one had a similar experience?

they issued the same message for me way back on May 14th 2003. It still shows the same message. They said they had sent it in mail, nothing received so far. My lawyers say that its an error - donno whom they talked to... :(

If you have a copy of RFE send it again to INS with all the documents they requested in it.

It clearly says on RFE paper to save a photo copy of it.

Try sending it again.
