My wife's RFE was issued on the same date as mine, 5/30. While my RFE got to my previous lawyer, who forwarded to my current lawyer (I've changed employers), submitted the response (it was for birth certificate anomaly), and got it approved, my wife's RFE has still not been received by the lawyer's office.
I even called up the service center and opened an inquiry. They promptly sent me a letter saying that another copy will be sent. But it has been 3 weeks and it is nowhere to be seen. The time provided on my RFE was about 85 days and it has already been 60 days. It makes me nervous that we only have 25 days left and still haven't received it.
My current lawyer keeps saying that I should ask my previous lawyer to follow up with the NSC (as legally my wife's lawyer is still the old lawyer). But the old lawyer says it should be my new laywer who should follow up on it.
I cannot rely on these lawyers anymore and need to take action myself, but am not sure how to proceed. Can anyone please help me here?
Thanks,
Pardoner
