What's meaning of "earning statements for last year" ?

1.In RFE, They asked for ""your earnings statements for the last year",
That means, I need to submit W-2 2003 or pay stubs of 2003?
Please respond

2. They also asking for following. (FYI)
They are asking that you provide, on original company letterhead, a letter from your current employer stating your date of hire, duties, remuneration and prospect for continued employment

As per my lawyer, earnings statement means paystubs and that's what we submitted for RFE reply on my spouse's case.

It is better to submit both. In actual terms, "earnings statement" should be referring to W2. But paystubs should also prove your earnings for the year.
I would submit both if I were you.

thanks guys. Do you think i need to submit all 26 pay stubs for year 2003
(I am getting pay stub bi-weekly)

Yes. It is always Safe to Submit Every Paystub you have received between the duration mentioned in the RFE.

Thank you. Trying to gather emp letter from HR.

My attroney says, Submit 2003 TAX returns also (even though RFE does not asks for it)

Send all the documents which can prove your earnings for the past 2 years like Pay Stubs, W2 and Tax Return Statements.
