Your case is very interesting. Usually if you apply GC by yourself, you will receive all BCIS mails. If your attorney applies GC on behalf of you, the attorney will receive the BCIS mails and you at most may receive a courtersy copy.
Can you tell a little more about your case? Did you or your attorney submit the I-485 application? Did you ever sign a statement to let your attorney represent you for the application? What's RFE about?
