RFE letter dated Jul 5th not received in mail

I checked the status online and it says that on Jul 5th an RFE was issues. I have called my lawyer so many times they still have not received the letter yet. In fact he did not even know that an RFE was issued till I told him. I am really concerned now as its been almost 6 weeks. My lawyer is also not very helpful either. I am not sure what to do? I have already called the National Service Center and they said wait another 30 days. Has anyone seen this before?

First compose a letter TSC (Att: Director )


Use USPS with return receipt (this would help u incase), Let them know u haven't received ur RFE. Attach ur 485 receipt + online msg printout, thats first step.


Second, use 800 and talk with TSC directly , do not speak with customer service, u have to talk TSC directly

method to follow to talk with TSC direct.

use 800 to find status.
Press 1 for english
Press 2
Press 6
Press 1 for SRC #
Press 1 again to confirm
Press 3
Press 3 or 4 when it says u have file Multiple applicaiton, by selecting this option u will be connected with TSC.

(if u find any error after SRC input, use any other SRC like EAD etc)

Once connected give TSC-opt to ur 485 src..

Let them know, they would send u home addr, if u have recently moved also keep in touch wiith old addr too incase.


Repeat all again after 15 days. hopefully u won't need it, within 4 weeks u would get the copy.

This is the msg online "On July 5, 2005, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."
Is this for RFE or what does it mean? Any idea anyone
 
No it is not an RFE . This message could be result of an address change or an inquiry by you or your lawyer.

It seems you mis-understand the msg as RFE,


this is common msg usualy trigered by,



  • Address change
    Inquery by you
    Inquery by your attorney
    Inquery by Aila on ur behalf
    inquery by senator/cong on your behalf

Anyway don't worry about it, in most case ppl never receive, but few do.

Don;'t panic and relax :D .

Common RFE msg is "We send you request for more evidence blah blah.....
