My husband’s (primary applicant) and my I-485 applications were sent together in Oct 2001.
My case was picked first with RD-11/19/01 ND-12/11/01 EAC-02-060-534**.
My husband’s case details are RD-01/3/02 ND-01/15/02 -EAC-02-086-519**

Today on-line message for my husband’s case is changed to – “On July 7, 2003, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case.”

No changes or RFE to my case. Still reads FP received on ….....

Will post the RFE details after receiving the notice. Ours is a straightforward case – EB2, NO change in job. We have given address change during Mar 2003. New address is in the same ZIP as the old address.

Were the applications sent separately ? and is it that ur husb's application got beneath some pile ??

Since your husband is the primary applicant, it makes sense to me that it is him who gets the RFE.
Just get ready with usual stuff like pay stubs, W2, tax returns, etc.

Sometimes RFE is issued as part of the quality control process.
I wish you and your husband speedy approvals after replying to the RFE

vijayrc- Our applications were sent together. I guess it was b'cos shut down of VSC due to Anthanx scare and 09/11 that our applications were got seperated. In case of EAD and AP , I got the approval first. Looks like for I-485, primary applicants case has to approved first.

How long does it take to get the approval after sending response REF notice?
