RFE issued. Please help.

I just checked the status of our I-485 applications. It says RFE has been issued on my, my wife's and my daughter's EAC numbers. The same message on all the cases.

Does it mean there are three RFE issued ? or they just copy the message to all the dependent cases ?

I believe, most of the RFEs are employment based. Did anyone ever get a birth certificate RFE ? I submitted birth certificates from Indian consulate.

From what my lawyer said: Birth Certifcates from Indian Consulate does not work anymore. They used to accpet it long back. I think there is some info on Murthy website

I agree with Kat, I also heard that INS is NOT accepting birth cert. issued by Indian consulate. I think that you should start finding a way to get them from India.

In my case birth cert. are from municipal office still we both got RFE on 10/21/02. Don't know whats the reason. May be we got RFEs for different reasons. God knows. I shall let you know when my lawyers receives RFE. Good luck to you.
