RFE Issued on I-140

This afternoone i received email from USCIS that RFE notice has been sent on 12/27/2004.
I-140(Principal),I-485(spouse)
On December 27, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

No RFE email yet...


now i have to wait for this RFE, i dont know why these guys issue RFE notice instead of approval notice
what a waste of time,money, blaa...
 
We can do some guess work on what can the RFE be about. Tell us this :

How many years in Bachelor's degree (3 or 4 ) and what is mentioned in the labor certificate about the degree and experience requirements ?

How many people in the company ?

Has your company ever declared a loss ( since you filed labor till date) ?

Did you do your degree evalulation ? If yes, how detailed ?

Did you send W2s for all years since labor was filed till date ?

Anything that comes to your mind about what this RFE can be about ?
 
Here is my reply....

1) How many years in Bachelor's degree (3 or 4 ) and what is mentioned in

ANs: 3yrs bachelors, in labor it says degree not required but says 3 year exp.
2) How many people in the company ?
ANs: more than 200
Has your company ever declared a loss ( since you filed labor till date) ?
ANs: dont know...
Did you do your degree evalulation ? If yes, how detailed ?
ANs: Document-by-Document Report
Did you send W2s for all years since labor was filed till date ?
ANs: sent copy of all w2s i had at the time of filling the case
Anything that comes to your mind about what this RFE can be about ?
ANs: becasue i called too many times and in these two weeks i am guessing for EVL( employment verification) still don't why my spouse got RFE on I-485

I got the same message on the same day. Lets see what is in the Notice. Keep posting about the information here. I will do the same.
 
RFE issued on I-140 and received by lawyer

Guys:

Here is the content of our RFE

1) I-140 (Principal)
i) Petitioner's 2003 Income Tax Returns
ii) A statement on the petitioner's letterhead detailing the proposed
employment of beneficiary

2) I-485
i) Required to have a new medical examination including Tuberculosis test
and if reacted, chest x-ray exam

Lawyer sugested to goto the same doctor, i was thinking of going to another doctor

what you guys say.....also i need the format of letter...same time lawyer is drafting it.

These are the easiest of RFEs so relax. Let the lawyer draft the EVL and yes go to the same doctor, this is better I guess.

Can you post the reply of your RFE, I also got an RFE but not sure what it is. But I am guessing it will be same as yours.
