My wife and I got RFEs issued on 12/03/2003 on our I-485s per online message. Never got the letters. Called the number listed in the online message in 2 weeks following their instructions. Customer service rep collected all information and told me to call back in 4 weeks if I don't hear from them. 4 weeks will be over in a couple days. My gut feeling is that they will collect my info again and tell me to wait for another 4 weeks. And this will go on till I grow old and die.
I wonder if there is any way to get through the "trained monkey" to someone who actually has access to our files and can issue another RFE? Does "May I speak to your manager works?" Or can they transfer call to IIO who works on the case and what's the best way to convince them to do so? And do they open "tickets" and keep track of these calls/requests?
