RFE issued. Have questions...

My case is weird. It has taken forever.

India - EB2
PD : 08/98
ND : 05/25/2000
FP : 10/25/2000
540 days + 1 month and still waiting.

I just went to the local fingerprinting office and spoke to an IIO who told me that an RFE was issued on the 13th. I have not received anything in the mail. Have not yet heard from the attorney.

What could I be getting the RFE for? While I hope it is something simple, I am very anxious and worried. Please update me on some RFE stories, horrific ones included, so that I may prepare for it.

There is no limit on what type of RFE\'s INS can send. This is to make you more cautious.
Just Joking, Relax, RFE should be for any one of the reasons:

1. your photos,
2. your medical
3. Job letter, ( since it is too late) you can send your current job letter. Pay stub, Tax returns.
4. Birth certificate, Marriage certificate.
5. In case if they think you were out of status, for some reason.

So no big deal. Forget about it, wait until it comes and act upon it.
