rfe issued for AP

Hi:

The online status of 3rd AP says that we have requested additional information for this case. It says the same for my wife's AP. The request for additional information was issued on April 15th. I still haven't received the rfe. I called the national customer service and they said call us if you haven't received it after a month.

Any idea what the rfe could be about?

In most cases,it is for copy of I-140 or ID (copy of first page of passport) or photos. Have you attached I-140 copy?

It may be the I140 copies as both me and my wife were issued rfes at the same time. But I have to ask my lawyer. My lawyer also talked to them and they said they can open an inquiry only after 30 days.

They may ask you to send a copy of your Approved I-140 or I-485 Receipt Notice, I got a RFE from Officer # 324 for I-140 or I-485 Receipt Notice for my 3rd AP. and then he/she send me another RFE for copy of identification like Drivers license or passport copy. So for you its better to respond with both I-140 Approval and a copy of driver license for the sake (to avoid delay)...

I got an Rfe for AP but my wife's AP has been approved.In the Rfe they asked me for a copy of I-140 receipt or Approval.

Earlier i have applied my I-140 receipt but god knows where it went. Since i am the principal applicant how can they approve my wife's AP and send an Rfe to me.

After all this is TSC.....

AP RD 01/21/04: RFE 04/28/04

Wife's Ap has been approved on 04/28/04.

Both me and my wife's EAD have been applied together with I-485 and have been approved on 07/30/03.
 
Its one of those " i say you do " attitude RFE. How did they issue your first 2 APs if they don't have a copy of Approved I140.
