RFE issued but lawyers claim it as error

According to USCIS and their website, RFE has been issued in May 2003, but my lawyers claim it to be an error. I contacted USCIS directly and they sent me a letter confirming that they had indeed issued a RFE, but gave no details on the exact requirements. My lawyers said that they have NOT received any RFE and had talked to USCIS, who checked all my paperwork and said that the website info is incorrect. The also claim that USCIS promised to correct the error, but nothing has happened yet. Anyone with similar experiences ? What should i do ?

Why dont you do a concall with the lawyer and BCIS so you can figure out the status. It may be that the lawyer is telling the truth but do you want to take the chance?
