RFE Issued and Laid Off

Hi,

I received an RFE about 2 weeks back for last 2 months pay stubs only. I have send them to the lawyer who will send to immigration this week so they should receive it this week or at the most next week.

My project is ending mid june and I am wondering what happens to my GC if my company lays me off if no other project is found when this project is over.

I am trying to find a new project or job but if I don't get one what happens.

Dont Worry.

Things will work out for you In-Time Just have patience. Dont think about it for one month and one Luck day in this month you see your approval. and also I wish you get a job thru the same company.
Dont loose your hopes. God will help you in crossing this hurdle.

u already received a rfe and replied to it...it may not matter that u are jobless...anyway last week there was a rfe which insinuated that being unemployed is acceptable to bcis provided u don't become a public charge.
so relax and wait for your approval!!

Usually after receiving a response to an RFE does BCIS ask for any other documents etc before issuing the GC? If they receive my RFE response this week and don't take up my case again for 2 months will they ask for some more documents at that stage?

Reason I'm asking is that one of my collegues in my company send his RFE response 3 months ago and has not received any info/approval yet.

Usually if they don't ask for anything new after receiving RFE response and if the response is what they asked for then I might be ok even if I am not working when they take up my case again for approval base don my RFE response.
