RFE issue - 09/00 case

Beginning of this week, I called to IIO and found out my case was with an officer.

Today, I check on AVM, VSC issues a RFE for my case. I don\'t know what they are requesting for.

I will find out from my lawyer and post it on this board.

It\'s been 13 days from the date INS issued you a RFE. Have u got your RFE yet? What\'s it about?
I will wait for few more days to call my attorney because of mail out time from INS.

I am in the same boat as you - waiting for 12 days

It has been 12 days for me (RFE issued on 8/1/01). I have not gotten it yet, and lawyer hasn\'t either. I have no idea what it is about, but, when I asked lawyer, I got a response to say that it is usual practice for INS to request updated employment letter, and maybe some recent payslips, to confirm that employer is still interested in permanent position for you. I will check with the lawyer once 14 days have passed.

In listening to the INS voice-mail, it mentions that if it has been more than 14 days to call VSC. I will call lawyer on 14th day (this Wed), and VSC on 15th day (this Thurs)
