RFE (Is it 2nd FP notice???)

My online status changed on 10/20/2003 from the normal message saying it is taking between 570-600 days to process this type of case TO On October 21, 2003, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

This is the first change of message even after doing the FP on 6/20/2002.

Message changed for my spouse and message has not changed for my kid 6 yrs old.

Could the RFE be for 2nd FP as we did our 1st FP on 6/20/2002 and 15 months have passed. Anybody who did a 2nd FP got it via notice as we got the first time or got a RFE. Any help is welcome. Called the attorney but could not get hold of him. Will update as and when I get the details of the RFE for both spouse and self.

Thanks. But mine Fp were taken 16 months back. Did you get a RFE i.e did your online status changed saying they have sent a RFE. Thanks once again, will update as and when get the mail
 
A lot of people's Fp were taken 16/17/18 months back, and still have not got 2FP notice yet, so don't worry. Also I think your RFE won't be just the 2FP notice, it is very possible for Employement check.

RFE is just sent to your lawyer, so you need to let your lawyer watch out recently. And 2FP notice are usually sent to both your lawyer and yourself.
 
RFE

Lawyer E-mailed me and told me among other things, want proof of birth of you and wife, affidavits AND letter from government authority saying why no record available. He did not mention what the other things are. Will get the letter from him t'row. Any how they are working on my case.
