RFE - I-140 & I-485

Hi,

Yesterday, recd RFE emails for both I-140 and I485.

Total of 3 RFEs one for I-140 and one each for self and spouse I-485. Notice is awaited.

Any suggestions/pointers to be aware of will be of great help.

I suspect that emails coincided with renewal applications of EAD and AP reaching USCIS.

i assume that this is your 1st EAD and APs. I do not think EAD/AP applications themselfes would usually trigger RFE on both I-140 and 485. I have read somewhere (i think murthy.com) that TSC usually does a light screening of your I-140 when they issue EAD to ensure that it is not fraudulent at the face value.

Given that they issued on both I-140/485, may be a good signal that they started looking into your cases , they may just need additional docs (W2s, letter from company, pay stubs.. and medical)

Just relax..and wait ...I also got RFEs (self/spouse) on my I-485..still waiting for the letters. I am telling this to myself too so i know it is not easy...
