RFE I-140 approved

My I-140 filed as reply to an RFE for I-1485 has been approved on
July 26th according to AVM, which I checked this morning.

The RFE was for a simple name change. The cover letter for I485 was
sent with the new company name (which I regret for not noticing it)
The I140 was filed in Feb.\'01 after the RFE was received in last
week of Jan.\'01.

I-140 WAC 01-103-xxxxx. I-485 was filed in August, 2000, WAC-00-246-xxxxx
FP was done in October,2000.

Hopefully I will get the 485 approved soon

Are there people who have their ammended I-140 approved and
I-485 not approved?

My new I-140 (RFE for my I-485) was filed 02/2001 and it was approved 03/2001 and up to now my I-485 case has not yet been approve!!! I\'m still waiting for my I-485 approval (PD 01/99 ND/RD 09/00;FP 11/00). I\'m patiently waiting for my approval, since almost all of my friends already got their\'s (I-485) approved!!! We filed our I-485 almost the same time.

Hope we will hear something from the CSC-INS soon... Let\'s keep our fingers crossed.

waiting_man, did you send a copy of new I-140 to the INS again.

May be sending copy of new I-140 to the 485 section may help.

Given that the INS mailroom is flooded with applications, INS might
take months to open any non-application mail. Lawyer has suggested
that we not inundate INS with more paperwork.

I guess some more patient waiting is in order...
 
SS7 -- Congratulations

Hope your 485 is also taken up soon. I think you should reply
to INS with your I-140 approval copy.

I am also waiting for 140 approval with WAC-01-123-xxxx
