RFE Help : I-140 redo

Hi,

I am new to this board. I recently received a RFE from the Vermont service
center. This is regarding I-140 redo, due to company name change.

Could any one elaborate on advantages / disadvantages of the following:

1. Filing for a new I-140 separately and attach the I-140 receipt in reply to RFE
2. Send required forms for filiing a new I-140 along with RFE.

My lawyer also decided to send I-140 application(redo) along with the RFE. My first I-140 was approved last year in Texas service center. Can there be any issue in filing in Vermont now.

My lawyer applied for the I-140 amendment before I gor the RFE. It was received by INS on 28th September and got approved on 24th of october. So I don\'t think it delays if you apply the I-140 separately. I am waiting for the 485 approval now.

Does any one know approximately how long it may take to get a approval after filing for I-140 redo in reply to the RFE
