RFE for photos

My RD is in July 2001 and I received an RFE for 2 photos in mid Sept. Replied and it was received by INS on Sept. 25.
Is photo usually the last item they request before making a decision? How long should I wait?
Also, how many photos did you submit when you sent in your I-485? I remember sending 4, together with EAD and AP application.

You need 2 for I-485 and 2 for EAD. I didn't apply for AP and I don't know know many photos it requires but I assume it is also 2. I guess you need a total of 6. Read the instruction for AP application.

You'll need 6 if you had applied for AOS, EAD, & AP. (2 per application)
