Anyone here familar with receipt of a RFE while waiting for an adjustment of status from asylee to PR? Its been 2 years since I've applied and I got a message on Status Check stating a RFE letter was mailed to me. That was 14 days ago and I haven't gotten the actual letter stating what particular evidence is being requested.
Is it usual to get an RFE at this stage? What sort of evidence is typically requested? Is this any indication that they are ready to decide on my application or is it just a rountine record-keeping thing (since applications submitted 1 yr before mine are currently being processed)?
