RFE for I485...Please help

I checkeg my AVM yesterday ..It says for request for more information.I am under AC21 .. Company filed my I485 was closed after six month of my I485 RD,I got another in same field and ever since i am working for new company.I did not inform INS about my new company.I am worried .... what will happen.

My details are

RD=08/22/01
ND=09/21/01
FP Done= 02/06/02
Laid off =02/25/02
Company close on 03/31/02
Joined new company on
03/18/02

Any comments will be appreciated...
 
wait to see what is the rfe for..

contact your current compnay's lawyer to draft a good reply to the rfe whatever it is. keep an employment letter ready. you should be ok. Did you have a 2000 PD , why was the rfe issued ? if you did not inform the ins about the job change

don't worry, just wait and se what the rfe is about, probably some simply matter.
I was in the same situation as you. When the RFE came (about three months after the sponsoring company closed down and I had to get another job and move across the country), my lawyer at that moment sent the requested papers and also a change of address and a letter from my new employer.
About three weeks later I had the stamp in my passport, and another three months later I had the green card.

Lawyer won't tell me the RFE

I spoke to my ex company lawyer and he is saying that he has closed the case and won't work on my case ...what should i do ...how can i get infomation about RFE....since he will get the rfe..........


Please help....

Hi Star,
Speak to your new company if they agree you can discuss with the old lawyer to pursue the case(may be with additional fee). Second option if your new companies lawyer agrees he may be able to file a change of Atorney and get the RFE(i'm not sure of the Exact Procedure). My best sugestion is speak to your Company attorney and decide as per his advice.

Can I get RFE details myself since my lawyer won't tell me...Is there way to know RFE details ????

you got to get a new lawyer

Inform the INS that you have fired that prev lawyer and ask them to resend the RFE to you.
Ask the new lawyer to send the G28 signature form that allows him to represent you.
