I went to Toronto in October 1999 to apply for a multiple entry H-1 visa and then I returned to US immediately. No \'new\' I-94 was given at the Windsor-Detroit border. In another words, I still kept my old I-94 issued by INS after I first applied for H-1 in US in 1997.
I heard an RFE was issued for my I485 case and I am wondering if INS is asking me for the I-94 associated with my latest entry date (October 99) as I put in my I485 form. If that is the case, how should I respond to INS that no I-94 was issued at the Canadaian-US border?
