RFE for I-20

Hi Guys,

Appreciate anyone with similar situation please post their details. I received RFe for copy of I-20. Just wondering if copy of I-20 alone is enough or any other things required. If anyone in similar situation share their expereince such as when RFE received, whether approved or still waiting etc..

Kamal, what is your rd/nd? you could check in RfE tracker file.
someone must have got a rfe for i-20 i would think.
by the way, i assume this is for your 485 application so what happened to your EAD application.

Thanks! Yes, this is for my I-485. My Rd/Nd is 04/02. I still haven't got my EAD. I am on I-EAD right now. If my 485 is approved soon, I don't care anymore for my EAD. I am hopeful of that.

Kamal, same here , I am on I-EAD which is only valid till Aug.

In your case, since you have got RFE, hopefully you don't have to worry for EAD anymore.

did you call the 800 number by chance for inquiry into EAD recently.
The reason I ask is if they picked your 485 case in response to your EAD inquiry or else it could be since you are 04/02 filer and they are looking at 03/02-04/02 filers. what is your FP?

I too am wishing that I don't need to worry anymore abt EADs & IEADs being a May 02 filer.

My Fp is 05/03. Yes, I did call the 800 number for my EAD. Don't know if that's the reason for this RFE. Even otherwise, I think it is about the time for my case to get light since I fit into the general trend we are seeing here. My I-EAD is valid till 11/04. So, I am taking it easy. Hope this RFE will bring an end to my long journey which I started in 98. Good luck to you too since your case is not that far off.
