RFE for EAD renewal for wife

I just got my new EAD in the mail and at the same time RFE for my wife's new EAD asking for I140 (I797), I485 receipts, marriage cert. What is interesting is that we sent all these papers when applied for EAD renewals ??? Anyway here is the info:

EAD: WAC03080*****
I485: WAC02062*****
 
I too faced the same situation, even though ours was first-time EADs. They asked for was a copy of the I-140 approval.

Same thing happened to my wife's renewal EAD application also. RFE for the same documents you mentioned. Again we'd also sent all these documents along with the application. I think they have a word document and they just take print out and send as RFE in random. What shall I say about these sweet guys.....

Bunch of Assholes thes guys. I am gonna wait for my self and my wife's apps now lets see what these jerks do. As i had mailed out each and every document. Do't they hv eyes too cause definately they do't hv mind.

In my case, they lost the 485 receipt .. but my app was rejected (sent back) soon as it was filed, so I had to refile.

Not sure if the lawyer missed it .. or INS goofed up.
 
My 2nd EAD is approved but my wife 2nd EAD got a RFE. I don't know what for this RFE, waiting for the mail.
 
I am in the same boat. I think it is ridiculous to ask us to provide the approved I140 while they approved it and have it somewhere. Aren't they have any logic reasoning!

The RFE most surely is for the same documents, my wife's RFE was for (copy of primary applicants I-485 receipt, copy of primary applicants I-140 approval notice and copy of marriage certificate). Its better to keep these documents ready now itself, so that you can send the response without a delay.
