RFE for dependent spouse

I just received a RFE for my wife to establish legal non-immigrant status. However, I have not heard anything about my application. Last update on my application was in 9/2004 when we inquired about not receiving any FP notice. Are our cases separated. I do not know how they can be processing my wife's case without even touching mine as she is my dependant?? Any thoughts!!!!

I am in a similar situation

Although my case is more complicated, I am in a similar situation. A RFE was issued on my wifes 485 in April and we replied to it in a week. There has been no change in status in the online update of my 485 since they transferred it to Miami. My 485 still reads that my case was transferred to Miami but my lawyers have confirmed that the case is back in TSC. So they are working on my wifes case without doing anything on mine.

There is one possibility here. They may have looked over both our cases and found everything to be fine and then moved to our wives cases. Or they just picked up our wives cases first. Who knows how these crazy people work.

Thanks for your reply. Our cases do appear similar, but obviously they have messed up your case somewhat. Hopefully, they will process it fast now. I am in the process of mailing information back to TSC on my wife's RFE. Who knows, when we will be approved.

I forgot to mention that it is very possible that our cases have become separated from our dependents. Due to my experience with the TSC thus far, I do no have faith in any of their processes.
