RFE for BirthDate AND PARENTAGE???

As anticipated my RFE which finally arrived after 3 phone calls to IIOs asks for more proof for BirthDate and Parentage!!! My birth certificate was issued in 1997 and so they did not think it was adequate enuff I researched on the birthDate issue and am obtaining affidavits and also my school records for extra evidence. All these certificates have my Father\'s name but (as a norm in India) there is no place where my Mother\'s name is mentioned(except on my Marriage Registration!! issued in 1996. Did any body out there get the same request about parentage?? and if so is the above documents enuff?? Please reply if you know anything about this issue. Thanks in advance.

   Can you post details like RD/ND, FP? I am also in same situation expecting RFE. My case is exactly similar to your case. I have prepared affidavits and college leaving certificate. I will be sending it if I get RFE.

The names of your parents should be on your passport and you can send two birth affidavits from parents/relatives.

Make 2 separate affidavits signed by your dad & mom respectively, stating that you are their son. Each affidavit should state the other as parent as being their spouse. Consult a lawyer for further details.
