RFE for 765 (EAD)

Hi

I saw online that the USCIS has requested for an RFE for my I-765. Waiting for the mail, but I am quite anxious on what they might need. This is particularly because an RFE on EAD seems uncommon.

My I-140 was approved in the EB1 category (through my employer, a research university) in Feb '09. I applied for I-485 along with I-765 and AP in April '09, finger-printed in May '09, and was waiting. My case is in TSC.

As far as I know, I have not had any issues with employment gaps and such.

Any thoughts?

I just saw that my I-485 got approved. So,

I-765 (EAD): RFE mailed out on 9th
I-131 (AP): Denied on 11th (probably because I-485 got approved)
I-485 (GC): Welcome letter mailed out on the 11th, and should expect the card within 60 days.

I suppose I can ignore the RFE, then?

Weird!
