My daughter received a 2nd RFE and ask us to explain why her visa status is still F-2.
The story is her visa status is valid F-2 when her I-485 was filed as dependent of primary beneficiary because her mom had F-1 visa at that time.
About two month later after filing I-485, her mom\'s visa was switched to H-1B but we didn\'t switch her visa status to H-4 because we thought her visa status is special during I-485 pending. We try to explain this on response of RFE.
Would this cost any problem to her I-485 application? Any similar situation? or Can we just pay the fine of money to solve this?
