I received an email yesterday from the USCIS requesting for additional evidence. I submited my RFI in Nov 2005 and did my BIO about that same period. Nothing has happend until this email message. I was wondering what else does the NSC needs from me.

Search through the site and you'll find some more info about RFE.

I finally received my RFE. The INS's systems show I have travelled outside the US since I was granted asylum. The NSC asks me for copies of NP, RTDs, and I-94s.

I am glad that I saved all my travel information (copies of airlines/trains reservations/tickets) and I can easily get these documents.

Oh, I have travelled since then too. So I guess I will get an RFE as well?? Had you had LUD changes right before getting the RFE request email?(from looking at your sig it seems not. Looks like your LUD did not change between them receiving your RFI response and them sending the RFE email)

I traveled since being granted asylum in 2003 - I travelled in 2004 and in 2005, but I did not receive RFE regarding my travel documents before I received approval on March 8 this year.

Didn't you submit all that with initial application? I think on the applications it says to submit all copies related to travel.

I did not travelled until after I submited my I-485 form. I have travelled 3 times to Europe and 1 time to Canada since I was submited my original application. Everytime I applied for a new RTD, I sent in my original one. I don't know why the NSC asks me for copies of my RTDs. I have never surrendered my I-94s though.

Clotty,

My LUD changed after I did my BIO and changed again after the center received my respond to the RFI request. Becuase the timing was so close, I don't really know which is which.

My LUD changed again on 03/25/06 after the NSC sent me an RFE. My LUD did not change before the center sent me the RFE.

Really? You kept all of them? They usually take the I-94's when you check in at the airport. At all my travels that is what they did, and I saw them do the same to other passengers. So I have only one I-94, the last one issued after my last travel. But I guess since you kept all of yours, that means they take it only when they see it inside the RTD/NP. Anyway, as long as you have the last one issued, that is all that matters. By the way since you have been asked for RFE, your approval is soooo around the corner.

Clotty,

I have heard people on these forums received an I-94 with time limit instead of the indefinate time period. I did not want to take the chance so I removed my I-94 from my RTD.

I hope I will get my I-485 approval very soon.
