Can anybody tell me what kind of Rfe do EB1-OR category people usually get. Do I have to be prepared for more recomandation letters? Usually on what basis are these category people get rejected?

Hi,

Most times an RFE means good news, people file a response and get an approval soon. sometimes they need some trivial information. I am assuming you got one right ? Could you please add your info to the EB1-OR tracker thread ? thanks

My receipt date is oct 21,2002. I have received finger printing notice for 30 th March. Received my EAD also. Waiting fot I-140. I did not receive any RFE. Just wanted to be prepared for rfe. Do you know if anybody got rejected and on what basis in our category?

Oh, you are worrying too much I think. I'd just wait and see. If there is an RFE it could be so many things ... and most of them very easy to answer I understand.

I don't know of any rejection in OR category. I understand it is fairly straightforward (assuming you are not really underqualified). I even know of grad students who got an OR approval. In this regard, for a scientist, OR is the easiest category to qualify for, but the less comfortable (in that you need a sponsor). Anyways, don't worry, relax and enjoy life, there is a beautiful life out there :)

In many listed cases OR petition was denied either due to people submitting dublicate I140 petitions in different categories with one of the petitions getting approved before the OR, or due to self-petition in OR category?!

Common OR RFEs:
- Prove of that your research accomplishments are significant and have had an impact in your field, thereby giving you international recognition as an outstanding researcher in your field

-show that you have at least three years of research experience
